Action Triggers
Automate your store: when something happens, run steps you define — with conditions and delays. ₹499/month.
Action Triggers is your store's automation engine: when something happens, if your conditions match, then run a sequence of steps. You build rules visually — no code — in the Action Triggers builder.
How a rule works
Every rule reads as WHEN → IF → THEN:
- WHEN (trigger) — the event that starts the rule: a new order, an order marked paid or delivered, a booking created or cancelled, a new customer, an inbound chat keyword, or a scheduled / time-based event.
- IF (conditions) — optional filters so the rule only runs when it should (e.g. order total over ₹500, a first-time customer, a specific product, collection or tag). Combine several with AND / OR.
- THEN (steps) — an ordered list of actions to run, with an optional OTHERWISE branch for when the conditions don't match.
What a step can do
- Send a WhatsApp message, an approved template, or a Flow.
- Change an order or booking status.
- Add or remove a customer tag.
- Apply or send a coupon.
- Notify your team with a staff alert.
- Call an external webhook (signed with HMAC).
- Wait a set time before the next step, or chain into another rule.
Safe by design
- Per-customer cooldown so the same rule can't spam a customer.
- Loop guard stops rules from triggering each other endlessly.
- Run log — see exactly which rules fired, for whom, and what happened.
- Dry-run test — try a rule against sample data before it goes live.
Examples
- When an order is delivered → wait 1 day → send a review request.
- When a new customer places their first order → add a "new" tag → send a welcome coupon.
- When a booking is cancelled → notify staff → message the customer a rebooking link.
Action Triggers is a paid add-on at ₹499/month. Turn it on from Add-ons, then build your first rule.
