Setting up services (appointments)

Services are appointment-based offerings (a haircut, a consultation). Open Catalog → Services → Add. Services share the product form, with a highlighted "Booking fields" box.

Service fields

• Name — the service name. Description and Price (a service can be free).
• Duration (minutes) — how long one appointment takes (minimum 5).
• Parallel (units) — how many of this service can run at the same time (minimum 1).
• Resources / staff — assign the staff who can perform it; their working hours create the bookable slots. Leave empty to run on capacity alone.
• Intake form — up to 10 questions customers answer when booking. Each has a label, a type (text, textarea, number, phone, email, date, select, boolean), options (for select) and a required toggle.

Availability comes from your staff's working hours and store hours; confirmed appointments automatically block their slot.
