WhatsApp starters & calling

Under Settings → Meta → WhatsApp you can turn on native in-chat features that Meta shows around your conversations.

Conversation starters

• Welcome message — let WhatsApp tell you when a new customer opens the chat so the bot greets them.
• Ice breakers — up to 4 tappable questions shown at the top of a new chat.
• Commands — up to 30 slash-commands (e.g. /menu, /track) that appear as the customer types.

A tapped ice breaker or command arrives as a normal message, so your AI bot answers it automatically. Click Save & publish to push them to your number.

WhatsApp calling

WhatsApp calling is the paid Voice & Calling add-on. Once enabled, turn on Enable calling to show a call button in the chat so customers can place a WhatsApp voice call. Every call's start, end and duration is logged into the conversation in your inbox. Toggle the call icon's visibility independently. (Conversation starters above are built-in and free.)
