WhatsApp message templates

Templates are pre-approved messages you can send outside the 24-hour window — order updates, reminders, promotions. Open Automation → Templates. Every template needs Meta approval before use (Approved / Pending / Rejected).

Building a template

• Name and category — Marketing, Utility or Authentication.
• Language — the template language.
• Header — none, text, image, video, document or location. Text headers support a variable.
• Body — the main message; insert variables like {{1}} or {{name}} that fill per customer.
• Footer — small optional line.
• Buttons — up to 10: Quick reply, URL, Phone number, Copy code, or a Flow button.
• Limited-time offer — a countdown banner (Marketing only).

Carousels & the library

• Carousel — 2–10 cards that share a media format and button structure; each card has its own image, text and button values.
• Library — start from a pre-built template and customise it.
• Authentication templates auto-generate an OTP message with a copy-code button and an expiry.

A live WhatsApp-style preview updates as you type. Approved templates can be sent by broadcasts and automation.
